My Story
I was the girl that new nothing about direct sales! I followed this girl that did scentsy and her life was amazing ! I would watch her go on trips make incredible friends, basically living the life I dreamed of!
I followed her for 2 years! I wanted to join so bad! But I couldn’t afford it… I was living worse then pay to pay! I actually had to choose which bills I would pay that month… it was horrible and an emotional ride! I was a very proud proud girl and kept my struggles to my self! Not even my own mother new how much I was struggling! And BOY do I have stories! Scared my hydro was going to be shut off… stretching food out as much as We could , the list goes on ! May 3rd of 2019 there was a join promo of 30$. I couldn’t afford it…. I had an over due cell phone bill… among other bills needing to be paid.. my cellphone was going to get shut off!
I KNEW we were about to lose everything if I didn’t figure something out quick… we were scared… I decided FRIG IT! Let them disconnect my phone I CANT miss out on this promo! I won’t ever be able to join at full price!
(Keep in mind I lived under a rock! I had NO idea how direct sales worked! I didn’t know I could have build up orders before joining that would render my join kit at no out of pocket cost… I thought your only option was to pay the join fee!
That’s not the case by the way !! did you know there is an easy way to get your join kit for NO OUT OF POCKET COST?? Well you do now! So if it’s something you would like to take advantage of come talk to me don’t be shy!
Anyways not knowing this was a possibility I saw no other option!
Let them cut off my phone … I need this Scentsy business more then anything !!!
I made the move !
See in my mind this was going to be my saviour ! This business was going to be my ticket to making friends Ive ALWAYS wanted, getting out of dept, making my kids proud, making my family proud, to finally put an end to the struggles, anxiety and depression….
I was so nervous.. I had never owned scentsy before but had seen it at friends houses and I wanted sooo bad to have scentsy in my home because it smells amazing ! Makes you feel good and the products always find a way to amazing you!
I could never afford it… (again ! Your girl lived under a rock! I had NO CLUE that there was way to get your Scentsy free! As a customer and even more so as a rep!)
So I had never had the pleasure of owning scentsy! So when I joined I was scared… not only that I had spend 30$ I didn’t have on a kit but what if I would fail.. what if my cell phone gets cut off … this business doesn’t work and I just wasted our last $$….
I was SOOO scared! I wanted all the things I was watching my upline have! The friendships the success, the trips!
It all became too real when i had finally joined!
I HAVE to work now… I have to make this happen! Success friendships and trips don’t come with just joining they come with working at it!
It all sunk in…..
Out loud I would tell Ryan (my spouse)
“It’s ok if I don’t do well with Scentsy eh? The kit was a good deal! “
“It was worth the kit alone I mean warmer is worth more then what I paid! Plus I always wanted to have some scentsy”
BUTTT
Inside I was thinking :
“HOLLY SHIT CASS! This is your chance! Seriously put your all into it!”
“This could be the thing that gives you financial freedom”
“This could save you and your family”
“If your upline was able to do it you can do it! Just don’t give up ! Put your all into it and don’t quit this time!!!”
“CASSSSS you NEED this!!! make it happen no matter what”
When I say we were so far in dept I was scared I mean it ! I couldn’t fail at scentsy! I caught whim of incentives you get when first joining and made those my first goals! I stopped at nothing to achieve them! That was my first test to myself
I wanted to rank up fast and build a team! I set goals and powered through them! I trained, I sponsored , I shared the Scentsy life with anyone who was willing to listen!
When I say I made sacrifices and changes to make it happen I did all the things! Stopped watching Tv and watched trainings and taught myself! I didn’t relay on others to get answers, I never gave up when it got hard, I worked hard till late and woke up early I CHOSE to do this because I wanted no NEEDED results fast!
It was hard work and I was determined !
In my first 6 months with scentsy I ranked up to director! Which is a BIG deal! And then 6 months after that became Star Director this means I am 1 rank away from the top of the company and I did it in under 2 years!!!
I was able to quit my job! Pay off my dept, and no longer have to worry about living pay to pay! That’s a thing of the passed.
Hard work truly pays off ! Specially when you are part of the best company in direct sales!
I now have an amazing scentsy family we call ourselves the “Wickless warriors family”
And honestly it’s the BEST FAMILY AROUND!!!! We are so blessed! We support each-other , help each other, amazing friendships are being made it’s just everything I could have dreamed of !!!!
